Harpenden’s New Sports Centre & Theatre
October 2016. St Albans district council have published background details about the new centres following a recent cabinet meeting.
In essence it means a new bigger single unit building with Swimming Pool and Gym built on the existing Swimming Pool site. Following the Westminster Lodge concept in St Albans.
AND a new Theatre/Arts Centre built on the site of the existing Sports Centre/Gym
WITH The Harpenden Public Halls being demolished and replaced with flats /apartments
Jan 2017. Exciting first stage plans have been produced following the community and stakeholder consultation on Oct 17,21,22 and Nov 12, 16
